Lost
Got another song done last night. They just keep on coming. This one has acoustic guitar and piano, and then an ELP-esque ending. It's somewhat of a reworking of one of my older songs that I don't like anymore. This version breathed new life into it.
I thought I'd post another song on here today because it's been a little while. This is one of my favorite older songs I wrote. I think I wrote it about 9 months ago. It's a story song about a guy living in Manhattan who has just broken up with his girlfriend and trying to move on. The title, "
The Hard Love Attitude" was something I got off my refrigerator. I have some of those magnets with different words on them so you can spell out sentences, and a friend of my old roommate had spelled out "don't change the hard love attitude". I thought the phrase "hard love attitude" was one of the coolest things I'd ever heard, so I decided to write a song about it. I still don't know exactly what the title means, but it sure sounds cool. Post comments if you wish.
End.
