pumpernickel & rye Long day today. Got a nice new digital piano this weekend so a lot of time will be spent re-recording the piano parts on old songs of mine. In some cases the entire song will have to be redone due to tuning issues on my other keyboard. For whatever reason when I first got it my Vintage Keys board would occasionally drop a few cents for no good reason and thus entire pieces would get recorded at this lower tuning rendering other instruments impossible. Stupid.

Gotta do some more writing. I'm been slacking. Actually I've just been busier than ever. But I'm getting an assistant at work to lighten the load and so weekends should actually exist for me again in a couple weeks. That will be quality.

Do yourselves a big favor and buy/rent I Heart Huckabees. Terrific film. Absolutely great. Great soundtrack work by Jon Brion who also wrote the soundtrack for Magnolia (another great movie) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

  quadraphonic stereo Don't get mono. Lot of changes. Some big. Not much song writing lately. Only 1 in the last 2 months. Sad. Good song, though. Closer is the most realistic movie I've seen in a long time. Check it out. Listening to a lot of Public Enemy lately as well. Great left-wing political stuff. Started editing some video to some music I wrote a year ago. The long piece connected with arpeggiators. The video is mostly old footage from college, but run through many effects it looks semi-fresh, although some people I'm sure won't care for it. If anybody wants to say something nice about/to me in the comments, I could probably use it.
